Setting:
Empty theatre stage.
Characters:
Renee – female, early to mid twenties
Ronald – male, early to mid twenties
Synopsis:
Ronald and Renee cannot make a decision without it being written in the script. But what do they do when the script runs out?
Edna's Closet
Setting
The action takes place in a janitor’s closet located off a community room in an assisted living facility.
Characters:
Ginny – Female, mid 80’s, mischievous, blind
Edna – Female, mid 80’s, worrisome
Fish - Male, mid 80' hard of hearing
Synopsis:
Edna seeks help from her friends,Ginny and Fish, as she finds herself in a strange situation involving a dead body, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, pot and sex in an unlikely place.
Setting:
The concession stand of a local movie theatre.
Characters:
Cashier (Aaron/Erin)- male or female, late teens teenager
Customer (Jamie)- male or female, mid thirties
Synopsis:
Jamie just wants to buy a soda and watch a movie. Being a good but bored theatre employee, Erin must go through her mundane sale pitch.
Boxers or Briefs?
Setting:
Golf course.
Characters:
Three males in their mid to late thirties.
Jason - Mid 30’s, very well dressed, private, annoys easily
Charles- Mid 30’s, curious but well meaning, driven
Robert- Mid 30’s, nervous, peacemaker, deep thinker
Synopsis:
Charles and Robert try to find out personal information about their friend Jason through the power of underwear.
Gravy Boat Genie
Setting
The scene takes place in a thrift store cluttered with dish ware.
Characters:
Brittany – female, 20 years old
Genie - male, any age
Synopsis:
Brittany discovers a genie in a gravy boat with emotional problems and social issues. They both discover surprising things about their lives.
Tales from the Potty
Setting: Scene takes place in a women’s movie theatre restroom stall.
Characters: Mother – female, early 30’s
Cassey – female, 3 years old
Joey – male, 6 years old
Lauren – female, 8 years old
Synopsis:
At a movie theatre Mother, Joey and Lauren wait, impatiently, in a restroom stall for Cassey to pee.
The "B" Word
Setting:
Scene takes place in the hallway of a school during present day.
Characters:
Emma Girl between the ages of 14-17
Samantha Girl between the ages of 14-17
Bailey Girl between the ages of 14-17
Two students Sam and Bailey (junior or high school age) try to bully Emma in the hallway of their school but the tables turn on them.
